Smalleywood is an independent software consultancy led by Stuart Smalley, a Software Architect & Engineer with over 20 years of experience designing, building, and modernising systems for businesses across the UK.
Stuart has worked as a software engineer, team leader, principal engineer, and architect across a wide range of industries. His work focuses on modernising legacy systems, designing scalable architectures, and delivering software that supports real-world operations rather than getting in the way of them.

Smalleywood is currently delivering a major multi-tenant modernisation project across Soyang Europe Limited, Soyang Hardware Limited, and Soyang Print Solutions Limited.
The goal is to replace fragmented legacy processes with a unified, centralised business management system that supports all three companies. The new platform provides shared capabilities where it makes sense, while keeping each business’s data, workflows, and operational boundaries cleanly separated through a robust multi-tenant architecture.
This work includes mapping how the businesses operate, simplifying and unifying existing systems, and building a scalable foundation that supports future growth across the entire group.
